Well this is radical but…..I think EVERYONE should qualify for every race, no owner points. It would make the teams work harder, I think, to get in the race. No guaranteed spots ever!
Re-starts should be just like the race starts, 2 rows. #1 on the inside #2 on the outside. Laped cars go to the rear. But I agree with single file at 25 laps.

43 points for number 1 all the way to 1 point for finishing 43rd. 1 point for leading a lap. No owner or driver points and you qualify every week. Fastest car starts last. No lucky dog, you race your way back to the front. Restarts have slower cars outside. No race to the chase crap. At the end of the season you have a winner.
