if Mark Martin was running the full season i would pick him. He has the best avg fisnish out of ever one so far this year. but since he isnt i say Jeff Burton or Matt Keneseth.

Jeff Gordon. He is on a impressive role. I can’t say enough good things about him. It’s like all the stars are aligning. He was the first driver at Phoenix to win from the Pole at a track that he has never won at. Which there was only 3 to start with and now its down to Texas and Homestead. He was the 3rd Hendrick Driver to win the 3rd COT race. Then after he won he held a #3 flag while taking his victory lap. I think that means so much. I also think that if Jr. is okay with it and went over to Victory Lane to congradulate him and shook his hand then I think that everyone should be okay wiht it. Jr. even patted Jeff Gordon on the head and chest saying that he was okay wiht it and everything and they have great respect for each other and Jeff knows he will never be Sr. but he is a very talented driver who is rewriting the record books as everyone knew he would from the first time he raced. It was nice to see Jr. who everyone loves and Jeff Gordon who people dislike because of his rivilaries wiht Jr. and Sr. talking together and congradulating each other on their performances. It was an awesome moment.

I’m rooting for Jeff Gordon… he might have just won his first race of the season… but he’s won many poles and has finished in the top 10 all of the other races. He is definitely looking to be a contender…. with (in my opinion) Jeff Burton not far behind. Go Jeffie # 24
