You don’t say if you are already racing or how old you are. The key thing is to race in every competition you can and practice a lot. The older you start racing competitively, the greater disadvantage to your chances. I like Greg Biffle, too. If finances are difficult for you, you could always do like him and work on cars to afford to race. Of course, you may not be able to weld, but you could still find a place in the garage or pits. Good luck!

If you haven’t started some type of motorized racing by now, it’s probably too late.

start by getting into go cart racing and work your way up
many professional race drivers started this way

start out in a vehicle at a small track and go to there classes after you have a little experience driving
